Hi`ilei Coelho

Senior Hairstylist

Hi'i was born and raised in Kaneohe where she still resides. After graduating from Kamehameha Schools, she attended Paul Mitchell the School in Kaimuki to study Cosmetology. Growing up, Hi'i always had a passion for fashion. During her high school years, she worked in a small family-owned boutique where she learned techniques of styling a client through different outfits, makeup, and hairstyles. These experiences through her childhood became stepping stones for her current career.

Upon her graduation from Paul Mitchell the School, she worked at a previous salon for over three years, where she learned that hair can be as creative as you want it to be. Being able to let her creativity lead the way for her career is one of her favorite things about being a hairstylist. She likes to watch her client's personality and confidence evolve by making them feel the beauty that lives within, far beyond the mirror.

Hi'i is currently a senior stylist with a passion for hair color. Balayage and highlighting are her favorite creative techniques. As a mother of 2, she understands that sometimes life happens and clients aren't always able to come in as often as they'd like. Her solution to that is giving each client that sits in her chair a customized hair color and haircut that can be easily replicated and maintained at home. A style that makes clients feel just as beautiful at home as they do in the salon chair.

"I want my clients to feel taken care of and know that they are important to me. When they leave the salon, I want to know they feel beautiful and confident."
